SWE is dedicated to providing resources and opportunities for women in Engineering. This includes educational and professional assistance, as well as information regarding the history of the accomplishments of women throughout history in the field of engineering.
SIUC's chapter of SWE is dedicated to aspiring to the same professional, educational, and social standards as the national chapter of SWE. SIUC's SWE chapter helps women in engineering gain insights into the professions to which they are seeking employment, as well as gain social skills necessary for interaction in today's work environment.
