Giving Back...

The philanthropy of alumni, friends and corporate donors can make a significant difference to the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Over the last few years, the department’s allocation from the state budget has declined, making it more difficult for us to strengthen our educational program. We want to prepare our students for their careers, and to provide them with a competitive education. We take pride in our classrooms, state of the practice teaching labs, computer labs and research labs. Private support from individuals and businesses is a critical foundation for the resources necessary to maintain our excellence. Donations can also dramatically affect the Department’s efforts to recruit outstanding students.
