Assignment:  Assigned problems are based on the lecture from the previous class.  Collaboration with other students in the class is strongly encouraged.  Problems will be collected and graded on a regular basis.  Read the material in Statics and Mechanics of Materials, 2nd edition, R. C. Hibbeler, Prentice Hall, 2004 before class.  (It’s been said that the person that won’t read has no advantage over the person that can’t read.)
